Natural lamp created with real sea shells, ready for immediate use. We do not include a light bulb, but we do include the cable and the electrical installation for its start-up.

This lamp is offered exclusively at the Tropic Gallery; It was conceived and created from the collaboration made by Tirsa de Après Ski, and Julia Vergara, plastic artist.

The context in which it was created, we transfer it to you in the words of the artists themselves, below:

 

"There are always books, flowers and shells lying on the bedside table of our summerhouse.
In August, our uncle took my sister and I to the warehouse were we use to go when we were younger. We spent hours looking through the boxes filled with seashells.
Later on in the afternoon we both sat down and stared at them while we talked about the balance and the live work, entitled “Naturalezas vivas” of the Spanish artist, Maruja Mallo.

The desire to replicate a landscape on an object using light inspired us to perform our first collaboration together."

We recommend using led bulbs to avoid overheating of the lamp.

Lámpara natural creada con conchas reales marinas, preparada para su uso immedato. No incluimos bombilla, pero si incluimos el cable y la instalación eléctrica para su puesta en marcha. 

Ésta lámpara se ofrece en exclusiva en Tropic Gallery; se ideó y creó desde la colaboración realizada por Tirsa de Après Ski, y Julia Vergara, artista plástica. 

El contexto en el que se creó, os lo traspasamos en las palabras de las mismas artistas, a continuación:

"Siempre hay libros, flores y conchas en la mesita de noche de nuestra casa de verano.
En agosto, nuestro tío nos llevó a mi hermana y a mí al almacén al que solíamos ir cuando éramos más jóvenes. Pasamos horas mirando las cajas llenas de conchas marinas.
Más tarde en la tarde nos sentamos y las miramos mientras hablábamos sobre el balance y el trabajo en vivo, titulado “Naturalezas vivas” de la artista española, Maruja Mallo.

El deseo de replicar un paisaje en un objeto utilizando la luz nos inspiró a realizar nuestra primera colaboración juntas."

Recomendamos usar bombillas led para evitar el sobrecalentamiento de la lámpara.
