Sekken is a handmade and exclusive piece of ceramic, which has been prepared for us by época ceramics firm for Tropic Gallery. It is a piece that you will only find for exclusive sale in our eshop, since it is a piece made especially for us. We felt the need to make a soap dish that was practical and that would give the solid soap durability, that would not stagnate it in water and would drain it easily so that it had more quality and life.

We were faced with the problem of not knowing how to optimally store the bar soap once we used it, and we decided to create this beautiful piece of vintage hand-made pottery. As you can see, this is a double-use piece: We have the ceramic bowl and rod as a backing for the soap; the rod with a hole drains the soap and keeps it fresh. On the other hand, we can use a bowl without the rod as a container for jewelry, bath salts, cosmetic powder or other varied uses according to need and imagination.

Sekken és una pieza  de cerámica hecha a mano y exclusiva, que nos ha preparado la firma época cerámica para Tropic Gallery. És una pieza que solamente vas a encontrar de venta exclusiva en nuestra eshop, ya que és una pieza realizada especialmente para nosotros. Sentíamos la necesidad de realizar una jabonera que fuera práctica y que diera durabilidad al jabón sólido, que no lo estancara en agua y lo drenara fácilmente para que éste tenga más calidad y vida. Nos encontrábamos con la problemática de no saber como guardar de forma óptima el jabón en pastilla una vez le dábamos uso, y decidimos crear ésta bonita pieza de cerámica de la mano de época. Como podéis ver, ésta és una pieza con doble uso: Tenemos el cuenco y la varilla de cerámica como respaldo del jabón; la varilla con un agujero drena el jabón y lo mantiene fresco. Por otro lado podemos usar en cuenco sin la varilla como recipiente para joyas , sales de baño, cosmética en polvo u otros usos variados según necesidad e imaginación tengamos.
